I hope this email finds you well amidst the outbreak of blistering summer heat mixed with rainy days.  I know how tempting it can be to stay inside, if only for the cooler temperatures.  But, I want to keep your enthusiasm buzzing and your connection to nature intact as we delve into some of the hottest days of the year.  

Starting early July, Pots & Plants is pleased to sell a wide range of freshly-harvested summer vegetables and fruits, including squash, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and more at our produce stand.  If you love growing your own vegetables from seed, we sell a huge variety of Bentley brand vegetable seeds.  And to those of you who have never started a vegetable garden or who hold reservations about starting vegetables from scratch, we offer free consultations in our store every day.  

Container gardening is a very efficient method to combine one's passion for gardening with a lot less work than a traditional vegetable garden would require.  Referencing The Old Farmer's Almanac, you can sow broccoli, brussels sprouts, kale, spinach, and tomatoes for a cool weather harvest.  If any (or all) of those vegetables speak to you, why not get started today?
